We have been working on the pool for the last couple days and what is work without some good music??? Music always makes things seem to go by more quickly and makes the work just a bit more enjoyable. But, we worked on the pool and got it ready to open. We wanted our music, so we used our cell phone playlist and paired it to the speaker. I easily paired it with my cell phone, however I did have fault with the instructions as they wasn't very clear. The phone can be paired with any bluetooth capable device.
The speaker is waterproof and has a suction cup to mount it nearby when we swim. We stuck it to the railing of our pool. It is nice and loud, despite its small size. It can be heard easily and it has no noise or interference to speak of. Needless to say, being mounted next to the pool we got to check out the waterproof feature of the speaker. It was splashed and sprayed with water as we scrubbed and cleaned the pool and kept on performing like it was designed to do. The phone needs to be nearby, but can be placed out of danger of the water. It doesn't seem to pick up very well if the phone is too far away. We placed it about 10 foot away on the trampoline next to the pool and it did great. The speaker is very clear and sufficiently loud. We don't want to have any complaints from the neighbors now do we??? It's loud enough for your enjoyment, but not so loud it will irritate the neighbors.
The speaker is designed so that you can even answer the phone through it much like a speakerphone (has a built in microphone), should your phone ring and you don't have it close enough to you to reach it or if you are in the water. I didn't use this feature, so I cannot attest to how that part works. To turn the volume up or down just hold down the < or > arrows on top. To fast forward or rewind just quick push the same buttons. There is also a power, play and pause button. It comes with a charging USB cable and is rechargeable. Just bring it in with you at night and charge it up. The charge lasts for hours, we worked for 4 hours and it was still going strong.
This speaker is great for your outdoor activities, swimming, parties, family get-togethers, etc. I am really glad I made this purchase it was well worth what I paid. It is compact, takes up little space and can be carried with you on trips or just used around your home. Pair up in the home to blast your music while you clean house, cook, shower/bathe or whenever you need just a little boost to your phone volume. All in all this is a good product, it performs like it was designed to.
